I purchased a wheel chair, one of the lower priced ones. I don't use it indoors, just for occasional outdoor use. I purchased the wider seat one which was just a perfect size with room left over, as I am just over 10st in weight. It arrived very quickly with good instructions on use. It is a bit bone shaking on pavements etc, but I have got an ordinary cushion on it now to sit on and it has very much improved the vibrations. Happy with chair up to now, had it a couple of months, also very happy with the waterproof leg cover that I also purchased.

Useful large viewer, cannot be...

Large, non-illuminated viewer, so would not suit everyone,or may be anyone in some situations. Fortunately I normally use it sitting with the magnifier either on a desk with a desk light, or similarly, on a table with such a light, in both instances the magnifier needs to be inclined. Changing from the flat to the inclined position involves removing one pair of wire legs and substituting a second. This is not something a person with weak hands could do as the force involved is not trivial. Because the magnifier is so light and the force necessary significantly more, it is not a very stable operation either. The second time I did it one of the small rotating sleeves (½" x ¼" approx) that the ends of the wire legs fit into, was flipped away, and was lost for several weeks before I found it by chance hiding behind an object distant from the desk ! Its loss did not prevent the magnifier being used, but the leg was somewhat loose. As Iuse the magnifier primarily in its inclined position, the above experience has discouraged me from folding the magnifier flat when not in use as this would involve removing these legs. If I used it in the horizontal position the legs do fold flat though, so storage would not then be an issue.

although they delivered the wrong…

although they delivered the wrong item-over bed table the service was excellent as they agreed to deliver the right item on Friday to enable us to take it to my mother in law at the weekend, as she had just gone into residential care for the first time having spent the previous 10 weeks in hospital. And allowed us to keep the wrong item as well!!! well done NRS Paul Cripps
