What are health monitors?

Health monitors are devices that detect and warn you about health issues, from incontinence to blood sugar.

What are the benefits of health monitors?

Health monitors offer a quick way to inform you, a parent or carer about a health issue that may require assistance. They are an accessible way to keep your health in check from the comfort of your own home.

What different health monitors do you offer?

Thermometer – we provide a thermometer that can take your temperature from your ear and forehead. It has an easy to read screen and a speaker that also reads your temperature aloud.

Alarms – we have a selection of incontinence and bed wetting alarms that are supplied with a sensor mat. This mat can fit on your chair, bed or pillow and sounds an alert when urine or liquid is detected. They are ideal for adult incontinence or bed wetting training for children. We also provide a low blood sugar alarm that can be worn on your wrist or ankle and sends a low blood pressure alert when a drop in body temperature or sweating is detected.

Monitors – we offer multiple epileptic seizure monitors that all include a sensor mat to fit under your mattress. One of our monitors also includes pagers that can alert parents or carers, and an extra sensitive mat for young children and babies. Make sure to check the details of each monitor as they are only suitable for specific types of seizures. We also offer a blood pressure monitor that includes a cuff to take readings from your arm and a digital display screen for you to view your results.

Suction and breathing – portable suction machines help to clear your airways and are ideal for bronchial and oral hygiene. We offer multiple units that are either battery charged or mains powered, as well as additional accessories such as carry cases and bacterial filters.

What should I consider when choosing a health monitor?

As our monitors come in different styles, you should consider your own personal requirements and check the details of each monitor to ensure it’s suitable for your age, condition and needs.
