What are pager alert systems?

With sensors and alarms, pager systems can alert carers and family members when you need support. Sensors can detect movement, falls and sounds, and the call button alarms simply need to be pressed to call for help.

What are the benefits of pager alert systems?

These pager alert systems enable automatic or quick contact with carers, so you can get support when you need it most.

Pager systems reduce accidents from wandering and enable carers to monitor your movements, even if they are in a different room.

What different pager alert systems do you offer?

Sensor mats – sensor mats can be used on the floor, bed or a chair. They detect when pressure is applied or taken off and will send an alert to a pager to let your carers know that you are out of your bed or chair.

Movement monitors – we offer a motion sensor with pager, that sends an alert when it detects movement. This is ideal for informing carers that you have left your bed or are wandering during the night. Door and window sensors are also available, sounding an alarm or sending an alert to a pager when they are opened.

Voice alarms – voice alarms are available for motion detectors and sensor mats. Personalised messages can be recorded and played when wandering or falls are detected, to reassure and advise you before a carer arrives.

Call button alarms – we provide multiple alarms that you simply press to call someone for assistance. We offer pendant alarms that can be worn around your neck, wrist or clipped to clothing and an emergency call button with a large, easy to push button. Both call buttons connect to pagers and are ideal for anyone with limited hand mobility. The soft pillow switch is designed so that you can comfortably press the button with your head or cheek whilst lying in bed.

Sound sensors – we offer a sensor that detects noise and transmits it to a pager. This is ideal for parents to hear a baby’s call and crying, or if someone is not able to push a call button for help. The sensitivity level of the sound sensor can be altered to pick up different noises.

Booster – a signal booster is available for pagers so the range between sensors and pagers can be increased.

What should I consider when choosing a pager alert system?

You and your carers should consider whether a button alarm, automatic sound or movement monitor is better suited for you. If you cannot easily use the button, or have difficulty remembering to use it, an automatic sensor may be more appropriate for you.
