Occupational therapists flock to The OT Show 2017

Occupational therapists from across the UK once again flocked to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham to check out the latest product innovations and listen to top industry professionals speak on how occupational therapy can make a huge difference to people who need additional help and guidance to live independently.

NRS Healthcare was once again front and centre, with a team of occupational therapists and product development specialists ready and willing to speak with other OT professionals about how they can provide the best options to those in need of extra support at home.

Occupational therapists love the Atlas Advance!

On our stand this year was a host of brand new products, including the Nuvo Petite Children’s Toilet Frame and Platform, Spa Grab Rail, Bamboo Furniture Raisers and, of course, our Atlas Advance – which received a great deal of attention over the two days we attended the OT Show. Many occupational therapists who visited our stand were keen to try out the Atlas Advance and its optional safety belt – ideal for additional support when travelling short distances.

As always, our Clinical Lead Rachel Seabrook took centre stage to share information and advice – this year she spoke on “Best practice in community equipment – how manufacturers, service providers and clinicians can work together to improve services”. Although the slot was in the late afternoon, a lot of occupational therapists and healthcare professionals made sure to stay for the talk and listen to what Rachel, in collaboration with Accora, had to say.

Additionally, Rachel also presented in the Poster Zone to speak with people one-to-one about specialist seating and answer their questions on what solutions are available.
