Having a ball at the OT Show 2015

It was the event our team of Occupational Therapists had been looking forward to all year, and once again the OT Show certainly didn’t disappoint.

Taking up their positions on Stand F20, Anna, Helen, Sharon, Linda, and our two lovely Rachel’s put their combined years of occupational therapy experience to marvellous use. Not only did they dish out invaluable advice to visiting OT students and professional carers, they also demonstrated two pieces of highly useful equipment – the Stand and Turn Easy and the Duo Walking Trolley.

Also joining our OT team were Geoff and Jason – our Area Sales Managers, who talked about the practicalities of the products on our stand whilst also informing visitors of the benefits offered by the wider business areas of NRS Healthcare.

Exploring and engaging at the exhibition

One of the best things about the OT Show is how open the visitors and exhibitors are to meeting new people. The atmosphere is buzzing with fresh conversation, innovative presentations and friendly exchanges.

Prior to the OT Show 2015, our digital team created a Facebook event and invited the other exhibitors at the show to join. We had a great response, with many exhibitors sharing the names of those who would be on their stand and encouraging us to pop over to say hello.

So that’s exactly what we did! Whilst exploring the exhibition, Lex and Sophie (members of our digital marketing team) made sure to swing by and introduce themselves to the exhibitors who had connected over social media, whilst also finding out more about their business.

F20 – the social stand

We also used our social media platforms to tell those attending the OT Show about the FREE dressing Assessment Kits available at Stand F20. We had 500 to give away on a first-come-first served basis and by the time the doors closed on the second day every single one had been taken! Our OT’s were thrilled with this result as the Assessment Kits can really help the professionals who claimed them.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us and we look forward to seeing you and your colleagues again next year!
