Attending Trade Days and the Pharmacy Show 2015

Last Sunday and Monday saw the return of The Pharmacy Show at Birmingham NEC. As one of the most anticipated shows on the healthcare calendar, our sales team couldn’t wait to set up shop and meet the variety of pharmacists, independents and trade customers attending the show and its neighbouring event Trade Days.

Keeping the team on their toes

Taking up position just a few steps from the café and theatre, the NRS stand was never short of passing visitors wanting to know more about Assisted Daily Living.

With a range of products on display behind the counter as well as a dedicated area for those with more specific enquiries to talk with Miranda, our National Sales Manager, the stand was equipped to suit visitors from a range of backgrounds – making it an inclusive way to connect with all attendees at the show.

Crossing the border to Trade Days

Also attending the dual-event at the NEC were Lex and Sophie – members of our digital and marketing departments, respectively. After marvelling at the new graphics for the NRS stand, they headed over to Trade Days to catch a seminar on branding.

Presented by two key staff at Elmwood, who pride themselves on being the world’s best brand design consultancy, it was eye-opening to hear their golden nuggets on how to create a powerful and profitable brand. ‘Be disruptive’ and ‘tell a sticky story’ are two points that particularly stood out.

And a great time was had by all

After two busy days of mingling with exhibitors, handing out brochures and building awareness of daily living aids with many different visitors to the stand, it was time for one last photo of the NRS sales team before packing up. Big thanks to the NEC in Birmingham for hosting such a great event and we hope next years show is just as successful!
